Controlled Chaos offers the best tour experience in Northern Alberta. Our four-mile tour takes you through Fort McMurray’s unique withered backcountry and into the remnants of a forest once lush and vibrant. While tragic, the 2016 Horse River Wildfire impacted our landscape impermanently. Your guided tour is a local experience you will never forget. This tour will take you approximately 20-25 minutes.

While our window for dog sled tours is ever-changing each year. Prior to your tour, we ensure that our trail conditions are the best they can be and safe for all parties.

For the well-being of our canine athletes, we regret to inform our clients that a single or combined weight limit of 300lbs per sled is in place. We thank you kindly for your understanding. Prior to your tour, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to sign an indemnity waiver and orientation.

Cancellation Policy Controlled Chaos reserves the right to withhold 50% of tour fees deposited, for any cancellation made by a client, 24hrs or less, prior to their tour. If a tour is canceled by Controlled Chaos and a rescheduled date cannot be identified due to end weather or trail conditions, a credit will be applied to you for the value of your original booking.
